Delta I’m a Gold Medallion but that’s not why you ROCK!



I made it to Gold Medallion, hurray! But that’s not why I’m giving Delta Airlines a KRUMP shout out it’s because of the excellent customer service experience I had. My bad I forgot to write down the reps name but she had a vibrant personality and I bet you can look at my reservation and figure out who help me. I was impressed that as soon as we connected, it was like she had ESP, because she knew exactly what I was calling about. I couldn’t believe it was true so I asked her to verify and she was spot on. She was looking at the exact ticket. Amazing!

Nearly a year ago using my miles I made reservations for my husband who is active duty Navy.   




                                                                        Because he got deployed he wasn’t able to use the ticket so I cancelled his reservation but left the ticket on hold. I was allocated a year to redeem it. Well Honey is coming off deployment soon and it took all of 10 minutes to book a flight for him using the same ticket AND there are NO outrageous fees.

The day Honey returns from deployment he will fly first class on Delta to meet his Wifey who will be working on the opposite coast. I’m excited - so was the customer service rep she said, “Don’t tell him it will be first class let that be our surprise”.  A very grateful military spouse giving a KRUMP shout out to Delta Airlines.

Note: I teach a Social Media Marketing seminar in which we use a case study about a bad customer service experience in the airline industry. The case study happens to be a video that went viral.
